A performance installation that includes projection on kinetic sculpture, with sound.

“l_so_illuminated ::: the bifurcation” explores human physical emotion, drawing a kinetic connection between sensation and the subconscious.

“l_so_illuminated ::: the bifurcation” includes a wearable installation that immures the performer [me] in clear plastic, drier sheets, and water.  During the performance, I pull on ropes attached to pulleys, causing waves in the  plastic.  Movement also controls the interactive movie that is projected onto the installation, and sounds play through hidden speakers.  By pulling on a plastic sculpture of arms, the audience is able to control me and the projection.
